Constant struggle .... joyful service .... victory ....

It remains a constant battle against the power which wants to bring about the apostasy from God, for it uses all means to seize people's will again and therefore great resistance has to be put up in order to successfully counter it. And therefore the human being's soul is constantly in danger as long as it is fickle and thereby grants the enemy a certain amount of power over itself. It certainly proves its will towards God through deeds if it dedicates itself to the task set to it despite inner reluctance and also openly professes its faith in God, yet joyful service can only be regarded as victory, only then will the adversary give up his endeavour and the human being will then effortlessly reach his goal. The world must be completely overcome, only then is God's spirit so close that everything appears comprehensible to the human being which previously seemed incomprehensible to him. For only now can he instruct him and be active in enlightening man ....
