spiritual flattening of the present ....spiritual turning point ....

The spiritual flattening of the present time requires extremely sharp measures to remedy it. And it is therefore intended that unusual phenomena will increase, which have the purpose of establishing a mental connection with knowing powers through questions which are directed towards infinity and the great riddle of the Godhead. These phenomena will always fall outside the framework of everyday life, certain laws of nature will seem to be overturned, things will happen that give rise to different opinions, and humanity's thoughts will be forcibly directed towards them and it will endeavour to find the most natural explanation of things. The more willing a person is to regocnize and confess God, the closer he will be to the truth and soon correctly grasp this phenomenon as an indication of the coming time and the beginning of a spiritual turning point. However, a person who does not have the slightest connection with God will hardly regocnize this. His intellect will look for another explanation but will not come to the right conclusion. In his view, all spiritual immersion is a point of view that has been overcome and he believes that the time has come that signifies the end of all spiritual endeavour. He seeks to explain everything objectively and intellectually, and what is inexplicable to him is presented as an unexplored force of nature. And now the necessity of a divine mission arises, which shatters such wrong thinking, i.e. changes it completely. However, this cannot be achieved by force either, and therefore these programmes must again be conditioned in the force of nature. They must again leave the human being free to decide, for the forced change of thinking would not be of value to the human being. He who now endeavours to judge fairly will find it easier to regocnize, for he has the will to work. And the extraordinary programmes will result in great hardship, and the hardship should in turn force the human being into true perception, it should eliminate all untruthful thinking, for it is precisely in hardship that the human being is prompted to abandon all pretence and all untruth and only strive for the pure truth. And then only right thinking is possible, then the events can still bring in unimaginable benefit, which only the soul regocnizes. Then these programmes will not have passed him by unsuccessfully, provided they have changed the human being's thinking and turned it towards the eternal divine ....
