Battle between light and darkness .... signs oft the end ....

BD 6018 August 9th 1954

I have always known about this time of battle before the end, and thus My adversary's cunning means with which he seeks to deepen the darkness, with which he opposes the light of truth, are eternally known to Me. And yet I let it happen .... I don't prevent My adversary if he wants to make use of his cunning and power, because truth will triumph in the end, because the light from Me cannot go out and because his hour will irrevocably come when he will be denied all activity, when he will be put in chains and no longer be able to oppress anyone. But he will make good use of the time remaining to him for the destruction of those who belong to him. The battle between light and darkness increases until the end .... Truth and error or lie will constantly be at war with each other, and this is the sign of the approaching end, that the earth will be shrouded in dense darkness .... that everywhere the wrong appeals, that it has the upper hand, that darkness threatens to extinguish the light .... and that people themselves no longer desire light but feel comfortable in darkness .... Thus a light bearer will not be desired either, people will regard him as a troublemaker and try to extinguish his light, people will not be grateful for light but regard it as a nuisance .... one will avoid the truth, although it would be easy to win .... But precisely this shall be proof to you of the near end and of the truth of My word. For it is My adversary's last attempt to triumph over Me .... Nevertheless, the small flock of My light bearers comes together and spreads an exceedingly strong light in the smallest circle, which will make My own happy and strengthen them for the last battle on this earth. For where My light shines there is no failure, no defeat, no weakness and no death .... Where My light shines, people's connection with Me is so intimate that they already dwell more in the spiritual kingdom than on earth .... Where My light shines there My adversary no longer has access, there all falsehood will be recognized and all glare will lose its shine .... And the light will be victorious, for in its glow everything will be revealed when the last day has come .... And whether the night before was still so dark, the day will dawn for all who sought the light, but night will remain for My adversary and his followers, from which they will no longer be able to escape on their own authority ....
